What is it?

Game Coder is an app which allows you to easily build your game directly from your iPad. You can develop and play your games and share, then with others users around the word, without know game programming.

Game Coder has a friendly interface to you build your games, using simple tools like drag and drop. You can build your own apps with your fingers! Game coder has a lot of images and objects to you rapidly and easily develop you games and after that is just push the play button and play!!!

You can play your games and also play games made by other people around the world.

How to use it?

Actions

This action allows you to define or change the value of a variable inside the game. You can use this to store important values like game score or the number of lives.

Variable

This action allows you to make math operations using variables or number and storing them into other variables. You can use this to increment or decrement the character's life or distances.

Math Operation

This action allows you to compare two values and execute actions whenever the result is positive or negative. You can use this to test if the number of lives is equal to zero to end the game or else continue playing.

Check

This action allows you to execute other actions periodically. You can use this to count time for the game control.

Timer

This action allows you to create copies of the objects you created at the level editor. You can use this to create lots of enemies in the scene during the game.

Spawn

This action allows you to remove objects from the current scene. With this you can remove enemies the have been shot.

Remove

This action allows you to change scenes. You can use this to change to the next phase when the player finishs the current phase

Change Scene

This action allows you move a object increasing or decreasing the distances in the axes X and Y. You can use this action to move a character to 10 pixels left changing the axis X always you hit a button

Move Object

This action allows you to rotate a object increasing or decreasing the angle starting from the object center. You use this action to rotate a character 180 degrees to turn it on the contrary its initial position

Rotate Object

This action allows you to change the transparency of a object increasing or decreasing the Alpha channel. You can use this action to slowly changes a character transparency always it loses life

Change Alpha

This action allows you to turn on Physics in a object. You can use this action to simulate physics and use it to throw rocks against aliens

Turn On Physics

This action allows you to apply force in a object. You can use this action to start push a object in a phase

Apply Force

This action allows you tu apply a impulse in a object. You can use this action to kick a ball in a soccer game.

Apply Impulse

This action allows you to change the gravity in a scene. You can use this action to leave one scene with the moon gravity.

Change Gravity

Events

This event is triggered every time an object is spawned. You can use this event to make a bullet move after been created to simulate a shot.

Spawned

This event is triggered every time the user start touch on an object. You can use this event to start an animation when the user touch on a button.

Touch Began

This event is triggered every time the user tap on an object. You can use this event to execute actions from a button.

Tap

This event is triggered every 0.5 seconds while the user touch on an object. You can use this event to accelerate a car.

Hold

This event is triggered every time the user drag an object with the touch. You can use this event to move objects around the screen with the touch.

Drag

This event is triggered every time the user stop touching on an object. You can use this event to know when the user is not touching the screen anymore and execute some actions on the game.

Release

This event is triggered every time an object collide with another using physics simulation. You can use this event to remove enemies when hit by a bullet.

Collision
